Veza Manufacturing, a manufacturer of wire and cable harnesses and electromechanical assemblies, announced the acquisition of Tornik, LLC’s manufacturing operations in Tijuana, Mexico, marking a strategic expansion of its global footprint.
The Tijuana facility operates under the IMMEX program as a maquiladora, providing cost-effective manufacturing solutions for wire and cable harnesses and electromechanical assemblies, particularly in the medical sector. The facility adheres to IPC 620 standards and holds ISO-13485, ISO-9001, and UL/CSA certifications.
With this acquisition, Veza Manufacturing expands its production capacity and enhances its ability to deliver high quality electrical and wire harness solutions. The addition of the Tijuana facility strengthens Veza’s manufacturing network by offering a lower-cost production option while maintaining quality and reliability standards.
The new facility will complement Veza’s existing North American operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roberts, Wisconsin, and Morgan Hill, California. This expanded footprint is expected to improve regional manufacturing flexibility, optimize costs, and strengthen customers’ supply chain resilience.
Customers are expected to benefit from increased manufacturing capacity, improved supply chain flexibility, and continued commitment to quality and on time delivery. The integration of the Tijuana facility, now operating as Veza Mexico, is already underway, with the company focused on ensuring a seamless transition for customers, employees, and partners.
Veza Manufacturing stated that the acquisition aligns with its long term strategy to expand its customer base and enhance its manufacturing capabilities across growing markets.
