Viably has acquired Harp Renewables, adding organics processing technology, intellectual property, manufacturing expertise and an established global installed base to its growing waste and recycling solutions platform. The transaction became effective July 30, 2026.
Through the acquisition, Viably gains Harp Renewables’ technology, intellectual property, inventory, commercial opportunities, customer relationships and installed equipment base.
The deal represents a strategic expansion for Viably as the company evolves from primarily distributing equipment into providing a broader range of integrated waste and recycling solutions.
Harp Renewables has developed technologies focused on processing organic materials, supported by specialized manufacturing expertise and equipment already operating in global markets.
Viably plans to incorporate those capabilities into its broader offering while investing further in customer support, manufacturing intelligence, product development and future market expansion.
The Harp Renewables brand will transition into the Viably master brand as part of the integration.
Existing equipment references will remain in place where necessary to support customers and installed systems, while customer service and commercial operations will continue across current international markets.
The acquisition provides Viably with another technology category through which it can help waste operators extract additional economic value from material streams.
Organics processing is becoming a larger component of waste management strategies as operators seek alternatives to disposal and pursue technologies capable of converting organic waste into more useful outputs.
Viably intends to combine Harp’s technical and manufacturing expertise with its existing equipment, systems integration, parts, service and support capabilities.
The company brings more than 30 years of waste and recycling industry experience, serves more than 700 customers and offers a portfolio spanning more than 50 machines.
