Vida: $4 Million Series A Raised To Expand AI Voice Technology And Strengthen Executive Leadership

By Amit Chowdhry • Nov 16, 2025

Vida announced the close of a $4 million Series A funding round that will accelerate the company’s AI voice innovation and support its expansion into new industries as demand for automated customer communication solutions continues to grow. Trammell Venture Partners led the round with participation from Timechain and others, adding new strategic backing as Vida’s AI phone agents surpass one hundred million customer interactions.

The Austin-based company has rapidly become a prominent provider of AI-driven phone agent technology for enterprises, helping organizations automate customer engagement, streamline communication workflows, and reduce dependence on large human support teams. Vida’s platform now powers tens of thousands of AI agents across various sectors, including construction, healthcare, automotive, telecommunications, and others.

The new investment will support the advancement of Vida’s product capabilities and expand the reach of its AI solutions among small businesses, telecom providers, and managed service providers globally. The company noted that a recent analysis of over 10,000 customer conversations demonstrated that inquiries handled by Vida’s AI agents are resolved significantly faster than industry benchmarks for traditional human-handled calls. That speed advantage enables businesses to manage higher call volumes, shorten wait times, and maintain consistent service quality across voice, web, and SMS channels.

Alongside the financing, Trammell Venture Partners Managing Director and co-founding partner Christopher Calicott joined Vida’s board of directors as Chairman. The company also announced three senior leadership hires who will help guide its next stage of growth and expansion. Jordan Gadapee has been named Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Lilien has joined as Chief Technology Officer, and Thomas Quintana will serve as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence. Gadapee and Lilien both joined from Textline, which Inunity acquired. Quintana previously served as Director of Next Generation Technologies at Inteliquent, which Sinch acquired. Their backgrounds bring extensive experience in telecom, artificial intelligence, and SaaS product development to Vida’s expanding executive team.

Founded by telecommunications veterans, Vida offers an AI operating system designed to help businesses automate complex workflows such as customer service calls and texts, scheduling, lead qualification, and sales conversion. The platform delivers lifelike voice interactions with low latency to support real time conversations that enhance efficiency and drive business growth.

Vida continues to expand its presence across a broad customer base and is focused on enabling more businesses to adopt AI agents that can manage high volume communication while maintaining reliable and scalable performance. Additional information about Vida’s solutions is available at vida.io.
