Video Rebirth, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence video company, has raised $50 million in new funding to expand the development of its high-fidelity generative video platform designed specifically for professional creators. The round included participation from global strategic and financial investors.
Dr. Wei Liu, a former Tencent Distinguished Scientist and Fellow of IEEE and AAAS, founded the company. The new capital will support the launch of Video Rebirth’s 1.0 product in December 2025 and accelerate efforts to build what the company describes as a “world model” for video generation. The company aims to offer an alternative to consumer-focused AI video tools by prioritizing cinematic quality, creative control, and realistic motion dynamics.
Video Rebirth is targeting professional use cases in areas such as advertising, animation, e-commerce visuals, and film production. The company highlights a key market gap where current generative video solutions struggle with motion consistency, lighting accuracy, and physical realism that are necessary for commercial and studio applications.
The company’s technology is based on a proprietary architecture called “Physics Native Attention,” which is paired with a curated data approach. This framework powers its “Bach” model series and is designed to produce more realistic interactions between objects, improved light and shadow rendering, and greater control over scene composition.
The startup is headquartered in Singapore as part of its strategy to support international expansion and to advance the next wave of AI Generated Entertainment technologies.
KEY QUOTE:
“Video generation is the most direct pathway to building interactive world models, but the industry’s scaling laws are not yet solved. Our mission is to move beyond simple ‘text-to-video’ tools and build a true generative platform. We are engineering for the creators who need cinematic quality and physical consistency, not just novelty. This funding allows us to accelerate our research and build an ecosystem for the next AI Generated Entertainment (AIGE) trend.”
