Video Rebirth, a Singapore-based AI video startup, announced the closing of an $80 million funding round to accelerate the commercialization of its industrial-grade AI engine and its flagship Bach video generation model. The round includes a newly secured $30 million extension on top of an initial $50 million raise in November, reflecting strong strategic demand from global investors.
The funding round was backed by a consortium of major industry players and venture firms, including AMD Ventures, Hyundai Motor Group, and other strategic investors spanning entertainment, mobility, and technology sectors. The company said the capital will primarily support scaling its Bach series of video generation models and expanding into global markets.
Video Rebirth is positioning itself beyond experimental AI tools, focusing instead on building what it describes as an “industrial-grade AI engine” capable of producing consistent, controllable, and commercially viable video outputs. The company emphasizes its ability to create coherent digital environments that can replace traditional film and rendering workflows, enabling new forms of interactive, personalized media.
The Bach model is designed to bridge linear media and interactive entertainment by delivering high-fidelity, physics-consistent video generation. This approach aims to unlock applications across content creation, simulation, and even mobility, enabling realistic digital environments to train physical AI systems.
With backing from strategic partners such as AMD, the company is building out high-performance compute infrastructure to support large-scale deployment. At the same time, partnerships with entertainment and automotive players signal broader ambitions beyond media, including simulations and the creation of virtual worlds.
The company’s leadership highlighted a global-first strategy, supported by investors that span multiple industries and geographies. Video Rebirth also pointed to growing demand for AI systems capable of moving from prototype demonstrations to production-ready outputs, positioning its platform as a foundational layer for next-generation digital content and simulation ecosystems.
Looking ahead, Video Rebirth plans to focus on commercializing the Bach series, scaling enterprise use cases, and expanding internationally. The company sees opportunities to transform how content is produced and consumed, while also enabling new workflows across industries such as gaming, film, and autonomous systems.
