Vijil has secured $17 million in new funding in a round led by BrightMind Partners with participation from Mayfield and Gradient, bringing its total capital raised to $23 million. The Menlo Park–based startup builds trust infrastructure for AI agents, enabling enterprises to deploy agentic systems more reliably and at greater scale.
The company’s platform is designed to help organizations build, test, and operate AI agents with stronger resilience, governance, and security. Vijil analyzes production telemetry and continuously improves agent performance through reinforcement learning. Enterprise users, including SmartRecruiters, have adopted the platform to accelerate deployment timelines and reduce compliance friction.
Vijil was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in the 2025 “Agentic AI Trust, Risk and Security Management (TRiSM)” report, highlighting the growing demand for enterprise-grade trust layers as AI agents move closer to production workflows.
Investors emphasized Vijil’s technical team, composed mainly of former AWS leaders, and its ability to address one of the largest barriers to enterprise AI adoption: trust verification at scale. The company plans to use the new funding to expand platform capabilities and support broader customer deployments.
