Vintage Stone Capital announced the appointment of Kevin K. Albert as Senior Partner and Head of Capital Markets, marking a significant step in the firm’s effort to expand its industrial acquisition platform and institutional capabilities.
The New Jersey-based private equity firm, which focuses on acquiring and modernizing U.S. industrial and manufacturing businesses, said Albert will lead capital strategy and institutional governance as it accelerates acquisitions in the lower middle market. The firm targets companies with enterprise values between $25 million and $125 million, aiming to transform legacy businesses through operational and technological improvements.
Albert brings more than four decades of experience in private equity fundraising and capital markets. During his tenure as Global Head of the Private Equity Placement Group at Merrill Lynch, he helped launch inaugural buyout funds for firms including TPG, Silver Lake, and Cinven. He later served as Partner and Global Head of Business Development at Pantheon Ventures, where he contributed to the firm’s global expansion and growth in assets under management.
Vintage Stone said the appointment strengthens its ability to attract institutional capital and reinforces its positioning as a scaled buyer in the lower middle market. The firm emphasized that Albert’s experience will support its strategy of combining operational execution with institutional capital expertise to drive growth across its portfolio.
