Viome Life Sciences has acquired Circulate Health, bringing together Viome’s molecular diagnostics and precision nutrition platform with Circulate’s physician-guided therapeutic plasma exchange capabilities.
The acquisition also gives Viome access to Circulate’s nationwide network of clinical partners, expanding the combined platform to more than 200 clinics. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Circulate has focused on bringing therapeutic plasma exchange, or TPE, beyond hospital settings through clinical protocols targeting healthspan and chronic disease. Its work also includes an approach intended to reduce circulating microplastics.
Circulate co-founder and CEO Dr. Brad Younggren will join Viome as president of Viome PRO, the company’s newly created clinical group.
Viome said the acquisition supports a broader strategy of connecting diagnostic information to personalized interventions and then measuring outcomes over time.
TPE has been used in hospitals for more than 50 years for certain autoimmune and neurological conditions. Circulate has been investigating its application in longevity medicine.
The company cited a 2026 study that associated its TPE procedure with reductions in circulating microplastic particles among patients with elevated baseline levels. It also cited 2025 research reporting an average 2.6-year reduction in biological age across a panel of molecular biomarkers following its protocol.
Viome’s technology uses RNA sequencing licensed from Los Alamos National Laboratory and AI to develop non-invasive early detection tests for cancers and chronic diseases.
KEY QUOTES:
“We don’t accept that declining health is inevitable. The future of medicine isn’t treating disease. It’s making health something you can measure and improve, year after year. Acquiring Circulate is the latest step in giving patients not just answers, but precision intervention. That’s what longevity medicine should be, and we’re just getting started.”
Naveen Jain, Founder of Viome
“Longevity medicine has reached an inflection point. We can measure more about human biology than ever before, and the field now has real, proven ways to act on those insights. What drew me to Viome is a shared belief that this field advances by bringing the right capabilities together. Precision plasma exchange alongside Viome’s molecular platform gives clinicians a broader, more credible way to practice longevity medicine today, and that’s a meaningful step forward for patients.”
Dr. Brad Younggren, Co-Founder and CEO of Circulate Health
