Visier Appoints Pramukh Jeyathilak As Chief People Officer

Visier has appointed Pramukh Jeyathilak as Chief People Officer as the workforce intelligence company strengthens its internal people strategy during a period of rapid AI-driven transformation.

Jeyathilak brings more than three decades of global human resources leadership experience across technology, financial services, consulting and workforce transformation.

He has held senior roles at organizations including the London Stock Exchange Group, Amazon Web Services, Fidelity Investments, Microsoft and Accenture.

Most recently, Jeyathilak served as CEO and co-founder of TalentLign, an AI-enabled human capital consulting firm focused on workforce transformation and skills-based organizations.

As Chief People Officer, he will lead Visier’s people strategy and help build an HR function that applies the same data-driven and business-oriented approach the company promotes through its workforce intelligence platform.

Visier was founded in 2010 and has spent approximately 16 years helping companies connect workforce information with business decisions.

The company’s technology is designed to help executives, managers and HR leaders analyze workforce trends, identify organizational risks and make decisions involving hiring, retention, skills, productivity and transformation.

Visier describes its platform as Workforce AI, reflecting its effort to move beyond traditional workforce analytics and provide contextual guidance during important workforce decisions.

Traditional HR reporting may show what has already happened, such as changes in employee turnover, hiring levels or workforce costs. Workforce intelligence platforms seek to connect those trends with broader business priorities and help leaders determine what actions to take next.

Jeyathilak’s appointment comes as organizations are reconsidering how work is structured, which skills will be required and how employees can use AI effectively.

Many companies are introducing generative AI tools while also evaluating how automation may change roles, workflows and organizational design. This creates new responsibilities for HR leaders, who must support employee adoption while addressing skills gaps, governance, culture and workforce planning.

Jeyathilak describes his approach as “forward-focused transformation.” The philosophy starts with defining where an organization needs to go rather than relying only on historical structures and practices.

This can involve reshaping culture, changing how teams work and removing organizational barriers that limit execution.

Visier CEO Ryan Wong said Jeyathilak’s experience connecting people strategy with business performance makes him well suited to lead the company’s People function during its next stage of development.

Jeyathilak has led post-merger integrations, organizational redesigns, skills transformations and digital HR initiatives across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Post-merger integration work can involve combining organizational structures, compensation systems, technology platforms and workplace cultures after two companies come together.

Organizational redesign focuses on how responsibilities, reporting relationships and decision-making should be structured to support a company’s strategy.

Skills transformation involves identifying the capabilities a company will require in the future and developing or recruiting employees who can meet those needs.

These areas are becoming increasingly important as AI changes how employees perform work and how companies allocate resources.

Jeyathilak has often joined organizations during important periods of growth and helped them scale their people operations alongside the broader business.

That experience is expected to influence how Visier approaches culture, team development and operational discipline.

In addition to supporting Visier’s employees, Jeyathilak is expected to contribute to the company’s broader discussions with customers about AI, workforce planning and the future of work.

Visier said his appointment will help position the company within the wider conversation about how enterprises can use AI to transform through people and talent.

The company serves more than 85,000 customers across 75 countries. Its customer base includes Dick’s Sporting Goods, Domino’s Pizza, Experian, Amgen, eBay and Ford Motor Company.

Visier’s platform is intended to help those organizations move from workforce insights to action at the moments when leaders are making significant decisions.

These decisions can include determining where to hire, which capabilities to develop, how to retain critical employees and how to reorganize teams in response to changing business conditions.

Jeyathilak said successful HR organizations operate as business partners and evaluate initiatives based on their measurable impact.

His approach emphasizes using data to inform decisions while keeping business outcomes at the center of workforce programs.

He also supports the development of future HR leaders. Jeyathilak serves on the advisory board of Purdue University’s Daniels School of Business and mentors aspiring HR professionals through DECA.

As Chief People Officer, he will help Visier apply its workforce technology and operating principles internally while supporting the company’s continued expansion.
