Visiting Angels announced that Scott Parrish has been appointed as the company’s new President. Parrish has spent nearly two decades with Visiting Angels and brings deep experience across the company’s mission, franchise network, corporate operations, and senior home care model.
Larry Meigs, Founder of Visiting Angels, will continue serving as Chief Executive Officer. He will work with Parrish to guide the company’s continued growth and commitment to compassionate senior home care.
Parrish joined Visiting Angels in 2008 as the company’s first General Manager. He was promoted to Executive Vice President the following year.
In that role, Parrish oversaw all corporate departments and helped ensure that company functions operated as an integrated team focused on supporting Visiting Angels franchise owners.
Before joining Visiting Angels, Parrish served for 21 years in the United States Navy as an officer and Naval Aviator. During his military career, he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Maintenance Officer, Operations Officer, and Executive Officer.
Visiting Angels said Parrish’s appointment reflects the company’s belief that strong leadership is built through experience, dedication, and a commitment to serving seniors and their families.
For more than 25 years, Visiting Angels has provided non-medical senior home care through a network of offices across the United States and internationally. The company offers in-home support designed to help seniors and adults remain independent, including assistance with daily tasks, companionship, and specialized care.
As President, Parrish is expected to focus on strengthening the Visiting Angels brand, supporting franchise owners and caregivers, attracting the next generation of owners, and evaluating how technology can support owners, caregivers, and clients.
