Vista Equity Buys Data Analytics Company 7Park

Vista Equity Partners has announced that it has acquired New York-based 7Park Data, which is a data analytics software company. This transaction will provide significant resources for 7Park to continue its growth trajectory, accelerate product and technology innovation, and execute strategic acquisitions. 

7Park currently works with over 150 companies worldwide. And it provides customers with a suite of software services and data products. By utilizing machine learning, entity extraction and linking, and predictive models, the company transforms unstructured information into contextualized Leading Performance Indicators for thousands of public and private companies.

7Park Data’s customers depend on the company for benchmarking, forecasting, and product development. 7Park Data’s Avenue Suite had a collection of dashboards providing clients and Partners with on-demand access to a report library, commentary from domain experts, custom queries, and visualizations. And 7Park’s Analytics Services transforms unstructured data and models data assets to accelerate businesses.

This investment essentially combines Vista’s operational expertise with high growth technology companies with 7Park’s innovative technology. 7Park is going to explore new partnerships with data sources and enterprise businesses to unlock value from their unique data assets and capitalize on existing commercial opportunities.

The financial terms have not been disclosed. Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Morrison Foerster LLP were the legal advisors to Vista. And 7Park’s financial and legal advisers were Raymond James Financial and Goodwin Procter LLP, respectively.
