Hg has agreed to sell its majority stake in Quantios, a provider of software-as-a-service solutions for the global trust and corporate services industry, to Vista Equity Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The sale is expected to generate an approximately 30% uplift to Hg’s latest book value.
Hg initially invested in the business, then known as TrustQuay, in 2022. In 2023, Hg combined TrustQuay with ViewPoint, which was owned by funds managed by EQT, to create Quantios.
Quantios has since developed into a global platform serving nearly 700 organizations across six continents. Its primary products include Quantios Core and Klea, which help trust and corporate services firms digitize and automate administrative workflows.
During Hg’s ownership, Quantios expanded internationally, strengthened its management team and accelerated its AI product development.
Generative AI is now integrated into Quantios Core and provided to customers as a standard feature. The company also offers a separately priced agentic AI layer that automates more complex regulated workflows through specialized AI agents.
The AI strategy was developed with support from Hg Catalyst, Hg’s AI incubator and engineering team. Quantios launched its first agentic AI solution in March 2026.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions and approvals. Baird and Deutsche Bank served as sell-side advisors to Hg.
