Heartwood Partners announced that its portfolio company VITALSpace has acquired B.I.G. Enterprises, a manufacturer specializing in custom guard booths and protective enclosures. The transaction strengthens VITALSpace’s manufacturing capacity, broadens its exposure across multiple end markets, and reinforces its position as a provider of purpose-built modular environments.
Based in South El Monte, California, B.I.G. Enterprises designs and manufactures durable, customizable guard booths and enclosures for mission-critical, commercial, industrial, government, and high-security applications. The company will continue operating under its existing brand and leadership team from its current facility, while contributing complementary products and an established customer base to VITALSpace’s platform.
The acquisition marks continued expansion for VITALSpace, which also includes Portable Solutions Group, SteelCell, and CareAffirm. Collectively, these businesses serve a wide range of sectors including data centers, government and defense, commercial security, healthcare, and public safety. With the addition of B.I.G. Enterprises, the platform now spans five key end markets, further diversifying its reach and strengthening its national footprint.
