Viventium has acquired Apploi in a move that the companies say creates a nationally scaled, healthcare-exclusive human capital management platform spanning the full employee lifecycle for post-acute and long-term care providers. The transaction adds Apploi’s recruiting and credentialing capabilities to Viventium’s payroll, HR, and workforce management suite, including scheduling and time and attendance.
The combined offering is positioned as a unified “system of record” designed to replace the fragmented mix of general-purpose software and point solutions that many post-acute providers use today. Viventium said the integration aims to reduce data silos and administrative friction while supporting healthcare compliance across all 50 states, addressing persistent labor shortages and regulatory complexity that providers face.
Viventium said its platform serves clients nationwide and supports nearly 800,000 healthcare employees. Apploi said it works with more than 9,000 healthcare organizations, providing tools to hire, onboard, and schedule staff, with a goal of helping facilities fill roles faster, reduce reliance on staffing agencies, and improve occupancy.
Support: Advisers on the deal included Goodwin Proctor LLP for Viventium. Houlihan Lokey served as financial advisor for Apploi, and Dentons served as legal advisor for Apploi. Financial terms were not disclosed.
