Vivere Partners, a specialty insurance platform established to focus on niche insurance lines, announced the completion of a $7.5 million Series A funding round led by General Catalyst, Pathlight Ventures, and Greenlight Re.
This funding round will accelerate the company’s strategic expansion, fueling the recruitment of elite underwriting talent and the development of a cutting-edge technology infrastructure. The new funding positions the company to rapidly build a business focused on niche insurance solutions, strong distribution partnerships, and underwriting discipline.
Even though the Managing General Agency (MGA) space has seen rapid growth, Vivere is focused on solving two persistent challenges: misalignment across the insurance value chain and a lack of transparency.
Vivere is headed by insurance veteran Chris McKechnie and engineering leader Sachith Gullapalli, bringing together a rare blend of industry depth and engineering innovation. And with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses across underwriting, data, and AI, the team is uniquely positioned to reimagine insurance from the inside out.
