Vizzia, a European public safety technology platform focused on sovereign video surveillance solutions for local authorities, has raised €30 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Base10 Partners, with continued support from Headline and SISTAFUND.

The funding marks a new phase of growth for Vizzia, which has been backed by SISTAFUND since its early days. Founded by Katrin de Proyart and Alexandre Leboucher, the company has positioned itself as a European benchmark in sovereign public safety and AI-powered video surveillance solutions tailored to municipalities.

According to the announcement, Vizzia has equipped more than 250 municipalities to address illegal dumping and onboarded dozens of local authorities for public safety initiatives in just three months. The company emphasizes that its platform is compliant by design and built to meet Europe’s highest regulatory standards.

Looking ahead to 2026, Vizzia is targeting adding one newly equipped local authority per week. The company also plans to hire 150 employees to support operational scaling and international expansion, particularly across the UK and Italy.

Vizzia offers a full-stack platform spanning hardware and AI-powered software. The company says its solutions are designed to deliver rapid and measurable impact for municipalities while respecting civil liberties and regulatory constraints. SISTAFUND said it will continue to support Vizzia alongside its investment partners as the company works toward building a European leader in public safety technology.
