Vodafone To Buy Skaylink For €175 Million To Bolster Cloud, Security, and AI Capabilities

Vodafone Group Plc announced that it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of Skaylink GmbH for €175 million. The acquisition is primarily funded by Waterland and is expected to strengthen Vodafone’s capabilities in cloud computing, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.

Headquartered in Germany, Skaylink is a leading full-service provider of cloud, digital transformation, and security solutions with operations across Europe. The company employs over 500 professionals recognized for their expertise in managing cloud deployments and migrations within Microsoft and Amazon Web Services environments, as well as implementing AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients.

Through this acquisition, Vodafone aims to enhance the range of digital services and support available to its business and public sector customers. Skaylink’s customer-focused approach and technical expertise are expected to play a central role in Vodafone Business’ growth strategy, particularly across key areas such as managed services, security, and cloud integration.

The transaction aligns with Vodafone’s long-term ambition to expand its enterprise digital infrastructure footprint and reinforce its position as a leading provider of advanced connectivity and digital transformation solutions across Europe.

Completion of the transaction is anticipated by the end of March 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
