Volara Motorsports Group announced the acquisition of Monday Motorbikes, adding an electric lifestyle mobility brand to its portfolio and establishing a new vertical in urban and recreational electric transportation.
Founded as one of the early pioneers in the electric mobility segment, Monday Motorbikes offers a lineup of electric bikes ranging from entry-level micro e-bikes to moped-class two-wheelers. The company has developed a following among consumers seeking design-focused and sustainable alternatives to traditional transportation.
The acquisition marks Volara’s first entry into the electric two-wheel market and complements its existing portfolio of automotive, motorsports, and off-road brands. Volara said it views Monday Motorbikes as a platform for future product expansion and international distribution as demand for electric mobility continues to grow.
Under the new ownership structure, Monday Motorbikes will operate as an independent subsidiary while gaining access to Volara’s operational infrastructure, capital resources, marketing capabilities, and global distribution network.
KEY QUOTE:
“Monday Motorbikes is exactly the type of brand we built Volara to acquire — authentic, design-forward, and operating in a category with enormous long-term potential. Electric mobility is not a trend; it is the future of how people move through cities and enjoy the open road. We are proud to welcome the Monday team and their community into the Volara family, and we are committed to providing the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.”
