Voyager Technologies Appoints Patrick Yarborough As Vice President Of Investor Relations

Voyager Technologies, a defense technology and space solutions company, announced the appointment of Patrick Yarborough as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective immediately.

Yarborough brings more than a decade of experience spanning capital markets, investor communications, corporate development, investment management, and strategic transactions. In the new role, he will lead Voyager’s investor relations efforts as the company works to expand its institutional investor base and strengthen communication with the capital markets.

The appointment comes as Voyager continues scaling its business across the space, defense technology, national security, propulsion, advanced electronics, mission management, and space exploration markets. The company said Yarborough’s background on both the corporate and investment sides of the capital markets will support its efforts to build greater understanding of Voyager’s strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth opportunity among investors.

Most recently, Yarborough served as Strategic Transactions Lead at Lockheed Martin Space, where he evaluated developments across the space and defense technology landscape and helped translate corporate strategy into inorganic growth opportunities.

His responsibilities at Lockheed Martin included financial analysis, market analysis, transaction evaluation, and execution, helping the company assess potential strategic investments and transactions aligned with its broader growth objectives.

Before joining Lockheed Martin Space, Yarborough worked as an Investment Strategist at Obermeyer Wood Investment Counsel, where he served on the Investment Committee of a multi-billion-dollar investment platform.

In that role, Yarborough engaged directly with corporate management teams and investors while evaluating company outlooks, portfolio positioning, investment opportunities, and broader market conditions.

Earlier in his career, Yarborough spent nearly a decade at UBS Investment Bank, advising founders, senior executives, and corporate boards on a broad range of equity capital markets transactions.

His experience at UBS included initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, private investments in public equity transactions, and private financings. He also helped companies prepare for investor roadshows and other investor-facing activities associated with equity transactions.

That combination of investment banking, institutional investing, and corporate development experience gives Yarborough direct exposure to both the issuer and investor sides of the capital markets.

At Voyager, Yarborough will focus on strengthening the company’s investor relations infrastructure and providing investors with a clearer and more consistent understanding of the company’s business, strategy, operating performance, and participation in major space and national security programs.

Voyager develops mission-ready systems for the U.S. and allied nations across areas including propulsion and energetics, advanced electronics, mission management, national security, and space exploration.

KEY QUOTES:

“Growing a public company requires growing the market’s trust in it. As we scale our capital base and investor footprint, having someone who has sat on both sides of the table — advising companies and allocating capital — will be critical to earning long-term confidence from the market.”

Phil De Sousa, Chief Financial Officer of Voyager Technologies

“Voyager is at the center of some of the most important programs in space and national security, and the market is still learning how to value that. I’m looking forward to enhancing our investor relations function to give investors a clear, consistent view of the business so that the valuation matches the execution.”
