Wabi Raises $55 Million At $1.25 Billion Valuation Led By IVP

Wabi has raised $55 million at a $1.25 billion valuation as the personal AI company expands a platform designed around shared experiences between people rather than single-user AI conversations. IVP led the financing.

Other investors included Andreessen Horowitz, Forerunner, Amazon Alexa Fund, and individual technology executives and founders including Tobi Lütke, Marc Benioff, Marissa Mayer, Dick Costolo, and Alex Pall.

Wabi was founded by Eugenia Kuyda, who previously created AI companion platform Replika.

The company combines an AI agent with personalized mini-apps and collaborative spaces designed for couples, friends, families, and other groups.

Examples of current use cases include discovering music with friends, organizing fitness challenges, planning date nights, creating shared meal plans and grocery lists, coordinating family schedules, planning trips, and building recurring social activities.

Rather than limiting interactions to individual chat sessions, Wabi allows users to create tools that remain available and evolve over time.

For example, a couple can maintain a shared list of restaurants, a family can collaborate on weekly meals, or a group of friends can create trivia experiences and track shared interests.

The company’s broader thesis is that personal AI can become more useful when it understands relationships and shared goals in addition to individual preferences.

Wabi launched publicly shortly before announcing the financing and said early users have experimented with the product across personal planning, relationships, goals, and entertainment.

The new capital will support continued product development and expansion.

Wabi is currently available on iOS, Android, and Mac, with a Windows version planned.
