Wafra appointed Amanda Heravi as Capital Formation Operating Adviser and Jacky Wu as Operations and Finance Operating Adviser within its Capital Constellation platform. The appointments expand the operating adviser network supporting Capital Constellation, Wafra’s strategy focused on next-generation investment managers.
Heravi and Wu are the first external appointments to the network.
Heravi will advise general partners on building and institutionalizing capital formation capabilities.
Her work will include investor relations team development, fundraising strategy, limited partner engagement, and investor communications.
Wu will advise managers on building the financial and operational infrastructure necessary to scale their firms.
His work will span reporting, finance capabilities, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and operating processes.
The two advisers complement Wafra’s existing internal resources, including James Saliba, who leads value creation for strategic partnerships, Head of Sustainable Investing Avantika Saisekar, and Chief Technology and Chief Information Security Officer Sean Dobson.
Wafra expects to continue expanding the adviser network into additional areas important to the growth and institutionalization of emerging investment managers.
Heravi was a founding member of Avista Healthcare Partners, which Capital Constellation backed in 2020.
As Head of Investor Relations and Director of ESG at Avista, she built and led the firm’s investor relations function across six consecutive fundraises, co-investment syndications, and continuation vehicle processes.
Wu previously served as CFO of DigitalBridge, a digital infrastructure investment manager backed by Wafra.
He helped lead DigitalBridge’s transformation from a diversified real estate investor into a publicly traded pure-play digital infrastructure investment manager.
The appointments follow Capital Constellation’s recent $2 billion final close of Constellation Generation V.
Wafra manages approximately $30 billion across strategic partnerships, real assets and infrastructure, and real estate.
