Walker & Dunlop announced it arranged $128.5 million in acquisition financing for The Arno, a 168-unit luxury residential community located in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood.

Walker & Dunlop Capital Markets Institutional Advisory arranged the transaction on behalf of Sade Real Estate. The financing was secured by Sean Reimer, Aaron Appel, Jonathan Schwartz, Keith Kurland, Adam Schwartz, Dustin Stolly, and Sean Bastian, with capital provided by Hudson Bay Capital.

The Arno is positioned in one of Houston’s most supply-constrained luxury residential markets, with the River Oaks neighborhood continuing to benefit from long-term household wealth, limited land availability, and sustained demand for high-end housing. The property offers residents access to River Oaks Shopping Center, Highland Village, Central Market, Uptown, Downtown Houston, and the Texas Medical Center.

Walker & Dunlop noted that the development’s luxury positioning, curated amenities, and hospitality-driven residential experience align with evolving preferences among affluent buyers seeking privacy and convenience in premier urban neighborhoods.

The transaction adds to Walker & Dunlop’s active capital markets business. In 2025, the company’s Capital Markets team sourced more than $22 billion from non-agency capital providers, including nearly $16 billion for multifamily properties.

KEY QUOTES:

“River Oaks remains one of the most supply-constrained luxury residential markets due to long-term household wealth, limited land availability, and sustained demand for high-end residential product. The property’s scale, luxury positioning, and highly curated amenity package align with the evolving preferences of affluent buyers seeking privacy, convenience, and a hospitality-driven residential experience within one of Houston’s most established neighborhoods.”

Sean Reimer, Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets Institutional Advisory at Walker & Dunlop

“The combination of River Oaks’ long-term fundamentals, Houston’s continued population growth, and highly selective development activity continues to reinforce the neighborhood’s exclusivity and long-term value. Walker & Dunlop and Hudson Bay Capital understood both the vision and unique positioning of the asset, helping us secure a financing structure that supports the development.”

Yoni Sade, Chairman And CEO of Sade Real Estate
