Wallbox announced the completion of the conditions for the effectiveness of its previously announced financial restructuring. This included an approximately €11.8 million equity raise, along with a separate €4 million investment by FOCUS ON NEXT FRONTIER, the investment company through which Rafael Ruiz channels his industrial holdings.
The approximately €11.8 million equity raise completes the equity financing contemplated under Wallbox’s restructuring plan. The amount includes the previously announced €10.65 million equity financing, along with about €1.1 million from the capitalization of original issue discount and paid-in-kind interest accrued under the bridge loan entered in April 2026 with relevant shareholders.
The transaction included participation from Wallbox’s reference shareholders. It also included the previously announced €5 million investment by the Generalitat de Catalunya through IFEM.
In a separate transaction, FOCUS completed a €4 million investment in Wallbox and joined the company as a new shareholder. Wallbox said the investment is part of FOCUS’s strategy to execute its investment plan in industrial holdings of high-technology companies.
Wallbox also said the court approval of its restructuring plan is now final and non-appealable. This followed the expiration of applicable objection and appeal periods without any challenges being filed.
The completion of the post-approval formalities and the effectiveness of the restructuring plan marks an important milestone for Wallbox. The company said the transactions strengthen its balance sheet, reinforce its liquidity position, and provide a foundation to execute its long-term business strategy.
