  • Walmart recently announced that it is going to start offering in-home grocery delivery. Now it is avaialble in Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and Vero Beach

Walmart announced earlier this year that it will be rolling out a service where groceries will be delivered to your home even while you are away. After you place an order, then you can select the employee for delivering your groceries. After the person reaches your home, you can open the app to see a live video from their body cam.

Walmart SVP of Membership and InHome Bart Stein pointed out that the service is available for over 1 million customers in Pittsburgh, Kansas City (Missouri and Kansas) and Vero Beach.

Walmart built this feature into a separate app called Walmart InHome Delivery. You can also go to InHome.Walmart.com to see if your address is eligible.

You can selecting either the kitchen or garage fridge as your delivery spot. And it is $49.95 for the corresponding smart device with free professional installation included. After the lock is installed, you will receive unlimited deliveries for the introductory price of just $19.95 per month ($30 min per basket). The first month is free. And you can cancel or pause at any time.

“We’re obsessed with simplifying grocery shopping and finding ways to make our customers’ lives easier. That’s why InHome goes the extra step so that our customers can live their lives without worrying about making it to the store or being home to accept a delivery,” said Stein.
