Warner Music Group has appointed Lou Dickler as acting chief financial officer after CFO and Chief Operating Officer Armin Zerza stepped down for personal reasons, effective immediately.
Zerza will remain available to Warner Music Group through the end of its fiscal year to support the leadership transition.
The company has started a formal search for a permanent CFO. Warner Music Group did not announce whether it plans to appoint a new chief operating officer or divide Zerza’s former responsibilities among other executives.
Dickler currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He has previously served as acting CFO and brings extensive knowledge of Warner Music Group’s operations and financial organization.
The company said his appointment is intended to provide continuity and stability while the search for a permanent finance leader proceeds.
Zerza served on Warner Music Group’s executive team during a period of growth and transformation across the music industry, including the expansion of streaming, emerging digital platforms, and new approaches to artist and catalog monetization.
