Warpify Robotics has completed a Pre-Series A financing backed by Zhongguancun Zhongnuo Fund, marking the global robotics company’s first institutional funding round.
Warpify Technology operates Warpify Robotics as its international robotics brand and plans to use the new capital to expand commercialization in priority global markets, develop its software platform and strengthen its partner deployment network.
Rather than approaching customers with a fixed catalog of robots, Warpify starts with the work a customer needs completed.
The company evaluates the workflow, operating environment, and underlying economics before selecting and configuring the appropriate robotic platforms, sensors, and payloads.
Warpify then connects those systems with software and enterprise applications while coordinating deployment and lifecycle support.
The model is designed to simplify what can otherwise be a fragmented process involving separate robot manufacturers, systems integrators, software providers and local service organizations.
Warpify supports several commercial deployment models.
Customers can purchase robots directly, lease equipment or use a Robotics-as-a-Service model.
Under RaaS arrangements, customers contract for a defined scope of robotic work rather than simply buying a machine.
Warpify and local operating partners can then coordinate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, repairs and ongoing service management.
The company works with enterprises, robot manufacturers, system integrators and local operating partners to structure each deployment around the specific task, technical requirements, operating responsibilities and commercial arrangement.
Warpify believes this workflow-first structure can make robotics deployments easier to repeat across multiple locations and geographic markets.
The company will use its first institutional financing to strengthen international commercialization and continue developing its software, operational tools and delivery systems.
Capital will also support partner enablement and lifecycle services, which are particularly important when customers operate robot fleets across markets requiring local technical support.
Zhongguancun Zhongnuo Fund is connected to Zhongguancun, one of China’s established technology and innovation ecosystems.
KEY QUOTE:
“Customers do not need robots in isolation; they need work completed reliably, at a viable cost and with clear accountability. Our role is to absorb the complexity of selection, deployment and operations so robotic work can be adopted and repeated across markets.”
Rick Zhang, Founder Of Warpify Robotics
