The Wasserstrom Company has acquired Breckenridge Kitchen Equipment & Design, a foodservice equipment and design firm headquartered in Huron, Ohio. The deal expands Wasserstrom’s capabilities in equipment project management and kitchen design, while extending its reach to a broader customer base.

Wasserstrom said the acquisition adds depth across the full lifecycle of foodservice facility work, including planning, design, administration, installation, and project oversight. Breckenridge is known for designing and furnishing foodservice facilities nationwide, with a focus on hospitality, healthcare, education, and restaurant markets.

Breckenridge will continue operating from its current headquarters in Huron. Wasserstrom said maintaining the existing base is intended to keep the team rooted in the community where the business has grown and to support continuity for customers and partners.

For Breckenridge, the combination aligns the firm’s design and project execution expertise with Wasserstrom’s broader platform in foodservice facility planning, equipment, and service. Both companies framed the transaction as a strategic fit centered on shared standards and an expanded ability to deliver complex projects.
