Waterloo Capital announced that it has acquired an equity stake in Ironclad Wealth, an Austin-based advisory practice. Effective July 1, 2026, the combined firm will operate under the Waterloo Capital name.
The transaction brings together two Austin-based firms focused on serving families and the broader local community. Waterloo Capital said the partnership deepens its presence in its home market and supports its strategy of disciplined, advisor-focused growth.
For Ironclad Wealth clients, the partnership expands access to Waterloo Capital’s institutional-grade infrastructure. This includes institutional asset management, advanced financial planning, and dedicated family office services.
For Waterloo Capital, the transaction adds an advisory practice with an established reputation and loyal client base in Austin. The company said the combination will help more families access institutional-caliber investment management and retirement planning support.
