Wealth Enhancement has acquired the investment advisory business of Arbor Capital Management, an independent registered investment adviser managing more than $345 million in client assets.
The transaction establishes Wealth Enhancement’s first location in Alaska and increases its total client assets to more than $161.7 billion.
Arbor Capital Management has offices in Anchorage and Fairbanks and is led by Matthew Kolesky and Ty Schommer. The firm adds four advisors and two support professionals to Wealth Enhancement.
Founded in 1996, Arbor provides fiduciary wealth management and financial planning services to individuals, families, business owners, retirement plans and institutional clients.
Its services include customized investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, trust and estate planning, equity compensation and multigenerational planning.
The acquisition closed on August 31, 2026 and expands Wealth Enhancement into its 41st state.
Wealth Enhancement and its registered investment adviser had approximately $160.1 billion in client assets as of July 31, while Arbor had approximately $345 million as of August 11. Including Arbor and previously announced acquisitions, Wealth Enhancement expects to have more than $161.7 billion in advisory, trust and brokerage assets.
