Wealth Enhancement, a national independent wealth management firm headquartered in Minneapolis, announced the acquisition of Wise Wealth, an independent registered investment advisor (RIA) with offices in Lee’s Summit, Rolla, and Liberty, Missouri. The deal marks Wealth Enhancement’s 100th acquisition and brings its total client assets to more than $125 billion.
Founded in 2007, Wise Wealth manages over $464 million in client assets and is led by President and Founder Stephen Stricklin, CFP, CKA. The firm’s team of 12 professionals, including six advisors and six support staff, will join Wealth Enhancement under the new name The GSEL Team at Wealth Enhancement.
Wise Wealth has built a strong reputation in the greater Kansas City region for its education-based approach to financial planning, guided by the principle “First Wisdom, Then Wealth.” The firm offers comprehensive wealth management services, including retirement, legacy, tax, and investment planning, with a primary focus on retirees and pre-retirees.
The transaction closed on October 31, 2025, with Hue Partners serving as Wise Wealth’s advisor. Wealth Enhancement, which continues its expansion strategy across the United States, now operates from 158 offices nationwide. The firm reported $124.5 billion in client assets as of September 30, 2025, including $4.1 billion in brokerage assets through Wealth Enhancement Brokerage Services.
