Wealth Enhancement has agreed to acquire the investment advisory business of Cloud Investments, an independent registered investment adviser managing more than $462 million in client assets.
The transaction will establish Wealth Enhancement’s first location in Alabama and increase the firm’s total client assets to more than $158.9 billion.
Cloud Investments operates offices in Huntsville, Florence, and Gadsden, Alabama.
The practice is led by President and Wealth Advisor Don Cloud and includes five advisors and six support professionals.
Founded in 2006, Cloud Investments provides retirement planning, investment management, tax strategy, estate planning and risk-management services.
The firm serves individuals, families, business owners and professionals throughout northern Alabama, including clients associated with the region’s aerospace and defense industries.
Cloud Investments operates according to its “Strategy-Ethics-Performance” philosophy and has spent nearly two decades helping clients prepare for retirement.
Wealth Enhancement said the transaction will combine Cloud Investments’ regional relationships with its national planning resources, investment capabilities and operating platform.
The acquisition is expected to close on July 31, 2026.
Wealth Enhancement and its registered investment adviser had approximately $158.2 billion in client assets as of June 30, 2026. Cloud Investments had approximately $462 million in client assets as of July 21, 2026.
Including Cloud Investments and previously announced transactions, Wealth Enhancement expects to oversee more than $158.9 billion in advisory, trust and brokerage assets.
