Wealthspire, an independent wealth management, institutional advisory, and business management firm, announced that Fiducient Advisors has entered into an agreement to acquire Sellwood Investment Partners, a Portland, Oregon-based investment advisory firm with $11 billion in total assets.
The acquisition strengthens Wealthspire’s institutional and private client advisory capabilities, particularly in the Pacific Northwest. Sellwood Investment Partners, known for its customized portfolios and long-standing client relationships, will enhance the platform’s ability to serve both institutional and high-net-worth clients.
As part of Wealthspire, Sellwood’s clients will gain access to expanded research capabilities and broader resources while continuing to receive personalized, high-touch service from their existing advisory teams. The firm will maintain its Portland office and continue operating with its established relationship-driven approach.
Founded in 2012, Sellwood Investment Partners provides advisory and discretionary investment management services to endowments, foundations, 529 and 529A plans, retirement plans, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is recognized for its disciplined investment philosophy, focus on risk management, and commitment to client service and community engagement.
The transaction also reflects Wealthspire’s continued strategy of expanding its institutional advisory platform through targeted acquisitions that align culturally and operationally.
The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial advisor to Sellwood Investment Partners, while Berkshire Global Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Wealthspire.
