Wedbush Fund Advisers Launches AI Power & Infrastructure ETF To Capitalize On Energy Demand From AI Boom

Wedbush Fund Advisers announced the launch of the Dan IVES Wedbush AI Power & Infrastructure ETF (Ticker: IVEP), a new investment vehicle designed to provide exposure to companies supporting the energy and infrastructure backbone of artificial intelligence.

The ETF builds on research from Dan Ives, Managing Director and Global Head of Technology Research at Wedbush Securities Inc., and Seth Basham. It follows the firm’s earlier launch of the AI-focused IVES ETF in 2025.

IVEP is designed to capture opportunities created by rising energy demand tied to AI adoption, particularly as data centers scale to support increasingly power-intensive workloads. Wedbush research projects that U.S. data center electricity consumption could reach approximately 470 terawatt-hours by 2030, significantly exceeding current consensus forecasts.

The ETF invests across four core segments tied to AI infrastructure, including power generation and fuel supply, grid infrastructure and data centers, equipment and power management, and materials and enabling technologies.

The launch reflects growing investor interest in the physical infrastructure supporting AI growth, as energy supply, transmission capacity, and equipment availability emerge as critical constraints on the pace of expansion.

KEY QUOTES:

“As AI adoption accelerates, energy and infrastructure are emerging as critical bottlenecks. Every dollar spent on AI ultimately requires energy, and the scale of demand is creating meaningful opportunities for the companies enabling that buildout. IVEP provides investors access to this physical backbone of AI.”

Cullen Rogers, Chief Investment Officer, Wedbush Fund Advisers

“With IVEP, we are extending access to Dan and the team’s proprietary research through the Wedbush ETF platform, giving investors exposure to another part of the AI ecosystem that will be critical in the years ahead.”

Gary Wedbush, President And Chief Executive Officer, Wedbush
