International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges has expanded its Intellectual Property (IP) practice by adding three prominent trial partners: Doug Lumish, Jeff Homrig, and Gabe Gross. This move enhances the firm’s litigation capabilities in the technology sector, particularly in the Bay Area and Texas.
Doug Lumish and Jeff Homrig, both former Weil employees, are now Co-Heads of the new IP, Technology & Science Litigation practice. Lumish and Gross will be based in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, while Homrig will operate from Texas.
All three partners are highly regarded trial lawyers with extensive experience in intellectual property, patent, and trade secret disputes across various sectors, including biotechnology and AI.
Lumish is noted as a leading IP trial lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience, while Homrig is recognized for his expertise in IP and trade secret cases. Gross specializes in patent, trade secret, and trademark litigation in life sciences and technology.
