Wesco Acquires Newark Engineering Group

Wesco International announced the successful completion of its previously announced acquisition of Newark Engineering Group. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Newark Engineering is a Singapore-based provider of engineered cooling solutions and lifecycle services for data centers. The acquisition expands Wesco’s data center cooling capabilities and strengthens its presence across Southeast Asia.

Newark Engineering specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining advanced thermal management systems.

These systems are critical to data center performance, reliability, and uptime.

The company provides integrated, customized HVAC solutions spanning design support, equipment supply, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle services.

Newark Engineering serves data centers and other mission-critical infrastructure across Southeast Asia.

The company is headquartered in Singapore and has offices in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Wesco said the acquisition expands its participation in the data center value chain.

Wesco International is a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Pittsburgh.

The company reported approximately $24 billion in annual sales in 2025.

Wesco provides business-to-business distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions.

Its product and services portfolio includes Electrical and Electronic Solutions, Communications and Security Solutions, and Utility and Broadband Solutions.

The company employs approximately 21,000 people and operates more than 700 sites, including distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and sales offices in approximately 50 countries.
