West Monroe, a global business and technology consulting firm, has promoted 11 professionals from director to managing director, effective March 1, 2026, as it continues to expand its leadership bench across industries, capabilities, and geographies.
The Chicago-based firm said the new managing directors reflect its next-generation consulting approach, combining deep industry experience with practical technology expertise and a focus on delivering results at speed. The promotions span multiple practices, including mergers and acquisitions, operations excellence, technology and experience, energy and utilities, organization, people and change, and marketing.
Among those promoted are Rainer Feick, Tyler Giesting, and Adam Kirsch within the Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Feick advises private equity investors and management teams on complex transactions across the software, consumer, and industrial sectors, with a focus on technology and operations due diligence and post-close value creation. Giesting partners with healthcare-focused private equity firms and their portfolio companies on payer, provider, and healthcare IT transactions, having supported more than 400 deals and serving as the firm’s healthcare payer M&A lead. Kirsch co-founded and leads West Monroe’s sell-side and exit readiness division, working with private equity firms and portfolio companies to drive successful exits.
The broader group of newly promoted managing directors includes Connor Augustyn in Operations Excellence; Megan Conway in Consulting Operations; Torin Lacher in Energy & Utilities; Doug MacWilliams, Patrick Miller, and Gus Wigen-Toccalino in Technology & Experience; Kristin Thompson in Marketing; and Dave Watschke in Organization, People & Change.
