The Western Union Company announced the appointment of Milind Pant as an independent director to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Pant is a global business leader with experience across consumer goods, services, and health sectors. He currently serves as an Executive Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management. He previously served as CEO of Amway, where he led a six-year transformation of the company, shifting its focus from traditional direct selling toward consumer health and digital commerce while supporting a global network of micro-entrepreneurs.
Before joining Amway, Pant held senior leadership roles at Yum! Brands, including President of Pizza Hut International, where he helped transition the brand toward a modern delivery-focused model. He also served as President and COO of Yum! China, overseeing the turnaround and expansion of a multi-billion-dollar business with thousands of restaurant locations. Earlier in his career, Pant spent 15 years at Unilever in leadership roles across India, Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey.
At Western Union, Pant will serve on both the Audit and Compliance Committees. The company highlighted his experience in digital transformation and global consumer markets as key assets as it continues executing its strategy focused on innovation, growth, and expanding digital financial services.
