WeWork Names Shyam Gidumal As COO

Office sharing company WeWork announced it has named Shyam Gidumal as the new chief operating officer under newly appointed CEO Sandeep Mathrani, according to Reuters.

Gidumal is a former partner and principal at Ernst & Young between 2011 and June 2019. And he also worked as a partner and board member at The Boston Consulting Group between May 1983 and November 1993.

This new hire is part of an overhaul happening at WeWork ever since the company founder and former CEO Adam Neumann was ousted. Reuters’ sources also claimed that the company will soon hire a chief financial officer.
