WEX announced that its Board of Directors has appointed David Foss as Chair of the Board, effective immediately.
The appointment follows the company’s previously announced plan to separate the roles of Chair and Chief Executive Officer. Melissa Smith will continue serving as Chief Executive Officer, President, and a member of the Board.
WEX said the leadership structure is designed to support the company’s long-term growth strategy and governance priorities as it continues expanding its intelligent payment solutions platform globally.
