WFA And Volare Wealth Advisors Merge To Form $750+ Million Firm WFA Volare

WFA and Volare Wealth Advisors have completed a strategic merger to create WFA Volare, a unified wealth management firm managing more than $750 million in client assets.

RFG Advisory supported the transaction, which combines two advisory businesses that have operated within the RFG community.

WFA Volare has a 16-person team operating across multiple markets and combines WFA’s nearly 30-year history in Louisiana with Volare’s roots as a female-founded wealth management firm.

The combined organization will maintain the advisor relationships and local leadership developed by both businesses.

The merger also reflects RFG’s expanding capital solutions strategy for independent financial advisors, including options involving succession, ownership, monetization and growth.

Earlier in 2026, RFG completed its first advisor majority acquisition with RVA Wealth Management.

RFG also surpassed $1.5 billion in recruited client assets during the first half of 2026, representing the strongest recruiting period in the firm’s history.

WFA Volare’s client base includes retirees, high-earning professionals, women navigating financial transitions, and professional and collegiate athletes and their families.

Matthew Johnson recently joined the organization as a Wealth Advisor and leads its New Roads office, expanding WFA Volare’s presence across Southern Louisiana.

The firm’s sports-focused capabilities include Chase Crump, Louisiana’s only NFLPA Registered Financial Advisor, and Wealth Advisor Brandon Wilson, a former NFL athlete.

Wilson’s background provides additional experience for clients dealing with financial issues related to professional sports and the evolving name, image and likeness landscape for collegiate athletes.

The combination also expands Volare’s historical focus on serving women and families. WFA Volare brings together women advisors across several markets and can also draw on RFG’s StrongHer Money program.
