Wheelhouse has acquired All Star Garage Door, expanding the Trivest Partners-backed garage door services platform across California and Utah.
The transaction represents Wheelhouse’s second acquisition of 2026 and adds a family-owned business with more than 30 employees and operations across Southern California, California’s Central Valley and Central Coast, and Utah markets including St. George and Park City.
Founded in 2008, All Star Garage Door provides residential and commercial installation, repair, and service. The company has built its brand around higher-end homes and customer service while expanding geographically from its California base.
All Star entered Utah in 2024, creating a presence in two additional growth markets before joining Wheelhouse.
Wheelhouse is building a national platform for the residential and commercial garage door industry by partnering with established, founder-led businesses. The company provides acquired operators with systems, leadership, infrastructure, and capital intended to support expansion while maintaining the local reputation and customer relationships of individual brands.
The acquisition gives Wheelhouse additional density in the western U.S. and broadens its ability to serve both residential and commercial customers. All Star brings an experienced employee base, an established service footprint, and relationships built over nearly two decades.
Wheelhouse said it remains actively interested in additional acquisitions of owner-operated garage door businesses across the U.S., indicating that the All Star transaction is part of a broader consolidation strategy.
For All Star, joining the platform is expected to provide additional resources for growth while preserving the operating foundation built by owner Ryan Salinas and the existing team.
The transaction follows Wheelhouse’s strategy of building scale in a fragmented service market where local operators can benefit from centralized infrastructure while retaining the customer trust associated with their regional brands.
