Global law firm White & Case LLP announced it has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and its Global Private Equity Industry Group with the addition of partners Aaron Kenavan and Jamie Palmer in Sydney.
Aaron advises Australian and global corporates, capital providers, and investment banks on corporate transactions, including listed company takeovers and mergers, share and business acquisitions and disposals, JVs and other business collaborations, demergers, and capital raisings. He has experience in various sectors, including consumer and retail, energy, mining and metals, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, services, and real estate. Aaron brings over 25 years of experience and joins White & Case from A&O Shearman, where he was a founding partner of the Australian business and led the Australian corporate team.
Jamie is a private capital specialist whose practice includes advising private equity funds, infrastructure and pension funds, and family offices on their M&A deals. He has experience across various sectors, including life sciences and healthcare, renewable energy, industrials, infrastructure, and real estate. Jamie brings over 20 years of experience and joins White & Case from A&O Shearman, where he was a partner for the last nine years.
White & Case welcomed financial restructuring and insolvency partners Timothy Sackar and Jillian McAleese in Sydney from Clayton Utz in 2023.
