White & Case announced that Jalpit Amin has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and Global Technology Industry Group, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in advising technology companies and private capital clients on complex transactions.
Amin brings extensive experience representing corporations, private equity sponsors, and strategic investors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and other sophisticated corporate transactions. His practice focuses primarily on the technology sector, while also encompassing strategically significant deals in the private capital, life sciences, and healthcare industries.
Joining White & Case from Hogan Lovells, where he served as a Corporate & Finance partner, Amin is expected to help the firm deepen its relationships with technology clients and enhance its ability to execute complex cross-border transactions. The addition comes as technology companies continue to drive significant global deal activity and as White & Case expands its M&A capabilities across key markets.
The appointment is part of a broader effort by White & Case to grow its mergers and acquisitions practice. Over the past year, the firm has added more than 25 lateral partners globally. Recent U.S. additions include partners in New York, Houston, Washington, D.C., and Boston, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in corporate and transactional practices.
White & Case said Amin’s experience and industry relationships will support clients pursuing transformational transactions both in Chicago and around the world through the firm’s global platform.
