Global law firm White & Case announced that Dr. Oskar Andrews has joined the firm as a partner in Stockholm, strengthening its Global Debt Finance Practice, Global Financial Institutions Industry Group, and Global Private Capital Industry Group.
Andrews is widely recognized in the Swedish banking market and brings extensive experience advising on complex lender-side financings, restructurings, and insolvencies. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of DNB Finans AS, Sweden Branch, the asset finance arm of DNB Bank ASA in Sweden. Prior to that role, he held several senior management and directorship positions within DNB Sweden, including Head of Legal for Sweden and Northern Europe.
Before joining DNB in 2011, Andrews worked at leading Nordic law firms and served within the Swedish court system as a law clerk and assistant judge.
His experience spans structured trade finance, automotive and equipment finance, insurance-backed finance, project and infrastructure finance, supply chain and receivable finance, warehouse finance, export credit agency finance, and borrowing-base facilities. He has advised Nordic and international banks, private equity firms, and publicly listed companies.
White & Case said the appointment reflects the firm’s continued investment in building an integrated global debt finance practice with strong regional capabilities across Europe and the Nordics.
