White & Case Adds Parthiv Rishi As M&A Partner In Singapore

White & Case has added Parthiv Rishi as a partner in Singapore, expanding the firm’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and its private capital capabilities across Asia Pacific.

Rishi joins from Sidley Austin and brings more than 20 years of experience advising private equity firms, venture investors, growth companies and other clients on cross-border transactions.

His practice focuses heavily on Southeast Asia and India and encompasses acquisitions, investments, sales, restructurings, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.

Rishi advises across the full investment lifecycle, including early-stage investments, growth capital, pre-IPO financings, minority and hybrid investments, control transactions and buyouts.

He has previously practiced in London, New York and Hong Kong.

White & Case said the appointment represents a significant investment in its Singapore office and its Asia Pacific private capital offering.

The firm’s Global M&A Practice has added more than 30 lateral partners globally over the past year, including recent additions across New York, Paris, Tokyo and Mexico City.
