White & Case announced the appointment of Jennifer Cheng as a partner in New York, continuing the firm’s expansion of its Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
Cheng joins from Reed Smith, where she served as Chair of the firm’s Global M&A Practice. She brings extensive experience advising Fortune 500, international, and middle-market companies on a broad range of corporate transactions, including public and private mergers, take-privates, asset and stock acquisitions, divestitures, reverse mergers, joint ventures, and private equity investments.
Her appointment reflects White & Case’s ongoing investment in its U.S. M&A platform, as the firm continues to build out its bench of senior dealmakers to meet growing client demand for complex, cross-border transactions. Over the past year, the firm has added more than 25 lateral partners globally as part of its expansion strategy.
