White & Case Expands Houston Presence With Addition Of M&A Partner Joshua Teahen

By Amit Chowdhry • Nov 6, 2025

Global law firm White & Case has strengthened its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, Global Energy Industry Group, and Global Private Capital Industry Group with the appointment of Joshua Teahen as a partner in its Houston office. The recruitment reflects the firm’s ongoing investment in expanding its energy and infrastructure-focused transactional capabilities both in the United States and internationally.

Teahen advises public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors, on strategic transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors. His experience covers mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, divestitures, and securities offerings. He joins the firm from another leading global law firm, where he previously served as a partner.

Houston remains a central market for large-scale energy and infrastructure deals, and White & Case has continued to build its presence in the city throughout 2025. In addition to Teahen, the firm has added partners across project development, finance, sustainability, and M&A in New York, Houston, and London. With these additions, the Houston office now includes more than 80 lawyers supporting clients on transactions worldwide.

Teahen’s arrival enhances the firm’s ability to advise clients across the whole energy value chain, including traditional and renewable power, infrastructure investments, and private capital deployment in evolving global markets.
