White & Case Invests In Saudi Legal AI Platform Clauze.AI

White & Case has made a strategic investment in Clauze.AI, an AI-powered enterprise legal platform founded by Waad Alkurini and focused on legal and corporate clients in Saudi Arabia and the broader region. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Clauze.AI is designed to understand and apply an organization’s legal knowledge to help legal teams review contracts, manage governance, perform due diligence, identify risks and obligations, and make legal decisions.

The platform was developed specifically for Saudi Arabia and surrounding markets and includes bilingual capabilities, full data residency in Saudi Arabia, and an option for on-premises deployment.

Alkurini is leaving White & Case after more than a decade at the firm to focus on Clauze.AI. She led White & Case’s Riyadh office for the past three years.

White & Case has worked in Saudi Arabia for more than seven decades and established an on-the-ground presence in the Kingdom in 1989. Its Saudi operation currently includes approximately 40 lawyers, including nine partners.

The investment reflects White & Case’s broader interest in the use of AI within legal services and Saudi Arabia’s continued emphasis on digital transformation under Saudi Vision 2030.
