White & Case Reveals 37 New Partners For 2025

White & Case promoted 37 lawyers worldwide to its partnership. This new partner class includes representatives of 11 of the firm’s practices and 21 offices in 14 countries throughout the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions. These promotions are effective on January 1, 2025. Listed by the regions in which they are based, these are the new partners:

Americas (13 new partners)

– Deema Abini – Named a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in Los Angeles, Deema advises multinational corporations on complex civil litigation and regulatory matters, with a focus on the technology and consumer sectors.

– Laura Baccash – Named a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Based in Chicago, Laura advises companies, investors and other parties on complex business reorganizations, including traditional, prearranged, and prepackaged Chapter 11 cases, mass-tort bankruptcy proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, acquisitions of distressed companies and cross-border insolvency matters.

– Ryan Brady – Named a partner in the Trade Practice. Based in Washington, DC, Ryan advises US-based and international clients on the regulatory and national security-related aspects of cross-border transactions, with a focus on matters involving the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

– Neil Clausen – Named a partner in the Tax Practice. Based in Houston, Neil focuses on the US federal income tax aspects of US domestic and international M&A, private equity, capital markets and debt finance transactions.

– Trevor Currie – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Chicago, Trevor’s practice focuses on M&A and private equity transactions, as well as venture capital investments.

– Zachary Dickens – Named a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in Miami, Zachary focuses on all aspects of trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts and cross-border litigation.

– Román González Melo – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Mexico City, Román is an antitrust lawyer specializing in transaction clearances and antitrust investigations, with experience in heavily regulated and complex industries.

– Surya Gopalan – Named a partner in the International Arbitration Practice. Based in New York, Surya represents sovereign and private clients in commercial and investor-state arbitration across a range of industries, with a focus on disputes originating in the technology and finance sectors.

– Jesse Green – Named a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice. Based in Miami, Jesse represents clients in federal and state court litigation with a focus on complex commercial disputes and bankruptcy matters.

– Amanda Parra Criste – Named a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Based in Miami, Amanda advises debtors, creditors’ committees and other parties on complex financial restructurings, in and out of the US bankruptcy court, and clients on sovereign restructurings, chapter 15 cases and other cross-border insolvency matters.

– Jaclyn Phillips – Named a partner in the Antitrust Practice. Based in Washington, DC, Jaclyn represents clients in a range of industries through all stages of antitrust litigation and investigations.

– Joseph Rosati – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in New York, Joseph represents public and private companies, boards, shareholders, private equity firms and other investors in US domestic and cross-border public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and related financing transactions.

– Adriana Zhan – Named a partner in the Tax Practice. Based in New York, Adriana advises clients on a variety of US tax matters related to M&A, reorganizations, investment funds, strategic investments, joint ventures, restructurings and capital markets transactions, as well as partnerships, “Up-C” structures, sovereign-related investors and FIRPTA matters.

EMEA (22 new partners)

– Khawla Alatiyat – Named a partner in the Project Development and Finance Practice. Based in Abu Dhabi, Khawla advises clients on the development, structuring and financing of large-scale energy and energy transition projects with a focus on greenfield renewable and conventional power and water projects in the UAE and more broadly across the Middle East.

– Joseph Bradley – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in London, Joseph advises financial sponsors on a range of complex cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, co-investments, joint ventures, carve-outs and corporate restructurings.

– Quirec de Kersauson – Named a partner in the Project Development and Finance Practice. Based in Paris, Quirec advises clients on public contracts and regulatory matters across a range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, TMT, environment and defense.

– Yassin Dimassi – Named a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Based in Berlin, Yassin advises clients on German restructuring processes, including debtor-in-possession proceedings, and he is frequently appointed as an insolvency administrator by local courts.

– Michael Gabriel – Named a partner in the Project Development and Finance Practice. Based in Riyadh, Michael advises clients on project development matters across the Middle East, with a focus on energy, water and infrastructure transactions, as well as utilities regulation.

– Fraser Galloway – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Dubai, Fraser advises clients on M&A, joint ventures, restructurings and private equity transactions across a range of sectors.

– Roger Gaspard – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Dubai, Roger advises UAE, Middle Eastern and international clients on M&A, private equity and equity capital markets transactions.

– Charles Julien – Named a partner in the Trade Practice. Based in Geneva, Charles advises clients on international trade and customs matters including trade remedy proceedings, international disputes and trade and investment negotiations, with experience in the Middle East, North Africa and the European Union.

– Béla Knof – Named a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Based in Hamburg, Bela acts as a court-appointed insolvency administrator in Germany and advises companies, creditors and shareholders on financial restructurings and cross-border insolvency proceedings across various industries.

– Boris Kreiss – Named a partner in the Capital Markets Practice. Based in Paris, Boris advises on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, rights issues, accelerated bookbuilds, equity-linked securities and debt issuances, and counsels issuers on corporate advisory and governance issues.

– Alexander Lang – Named a partner in the International Arbitration Practice. Based in Frankfurt, Alexander’s practice focuses on multijurisdictional disputes, primarily relating to engineering and construction projects, M&A transactions and automotive supply contracts.

– Edouard Le Breton – Named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Paris, Edouard’s practice focuses on French domestic and cross-border infrastructure and energy-related transactions, sales and joint ventures.

– Nicholas Macheras – Named a partner in the Project Development and Finance Practice. Based in Paris, Nicholas advises sponsors and lenders on project and commodity-linked financings, particularly in the renewable and conventional energy and infrastructure sectors, across Africa and other emerging markets, Europe and the Middle East.

– Ignacio Madalena has been named a partner in the International Arbitration Practice. Based in Madrid, Ignacio advises clients on international commercial and investor-state arbitrations with a focus on Spain and Latin America.

– Jean-Guillaume Meunier has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Paris, Jean-Guillaume advises French domestic and international listed and non-listed companies, private equity funds, family offices and individual entrepreneurs in public and private M&A-related matters and on corporate governance issues.

– Paddy Mohen – Named a partner in the Construction Practice. Based in London, Paddy advises on construction and project development matters with a focus on energy transition projects, including low-carbon metal refineries and critical-mineral mining.

– Angus Nunn has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in London, Angus’ practice focuses on technology M&A, advising start-ups, scale-ups and established technology companies on exits and complex recapitalizations, and investors and technology companies on financing rounds and joint ventures.

– Olivier Pâris has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Paris, Olivier advises clients across a variety of M&A transactions, including public and private deals, sales and joint ventures, primarily in the mid-cap to jumbo-cap market segments.

– Karel Petržela has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Prague, Karel focuses on domestic and cross-border transactions in regulated sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, energy and real estate, in Central, Eastern and Southwest Europe.

– Giuseppe Tantulli has been named a partner in the Antitrust Practice. Based in Brussels, Giuseppe advises clients on EU, Italian and international antitrust and competition law, with a focus on merger control, including joint ventures and minority shareholding acquisitions, cartel investigations and compliance issues.

– Tatiana Uskova has been named a partner in the Capital Markets Practice. Based in Paris, Tatiana advises clients on a variety of debt capital market transactions and complex securities offerings, including hybrids for corporates and regulatory capital matters for insurers under French law.

– Sebastian Wallin has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Stockholm, Sebastian focuses on private equity transactions in the Nordics and more broadly, advising clients on M&A transactions, IPOs, LBOs, complex carve-outs, restructurings, divestments, co-investments and corporate matters across multiple industries.

APAC (2 new partners)

Jessica Leung has been named a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Based in Singapore, Jessica advises private equity fund managers, global companies and other investors on private equity transactions, cross-border M&A and joint ventures.

Nadan Sehic has been named a partner in the Investment Funds Practice. Based in Singapore, Nadan advises on the formation of and investment in private investment funds, with a focus on joint ventures, co-investments, minority stake investments, secondaries and other complex fund-related transactions.
