White & Case: Sašo Kraner Joins New York Office To Expand Global M&A Practice

Global law firm White & Case announced that Sašo Kraner has joined the firm as a partner in New York as part of the continued expansion of its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice.

Kraner advises strategic companies and private equity firms on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, negotiated and unsolicited takeovers, tender offers, take-privates, and carve-outs across multiple industries. He also counsels clients on corporate governance and shareholder activism matters. He joins White & Case from Davis Polk.

According to the firm, Kraner’s addition strengthens White & Case’s capabilities in complex cross-border transactions and strategic corporate matters as client demand for integrated international deal execution continues to increase.

White & Case noted that its M&A Practice has added more than 25 lateral partners globally over the past year. Recent US-based additions include Andrea Basham, Jennifer Cheng, Paul Tiger, Airi Hammalov and Stephen Fraidin in New York; Gabriel Salinas, Josh Teahen, Ian Goldberg and Alex Miron in Houston; Susan Nieto in Washington, DC; and Nicole Daley in Boston.
